Environmental Impact Assessments
Structured environmental impact assessments (EIAs) are required for most major development projects under the British Columbia Environmental Assessment Act (BCEAA) and Canadian Environmental Assessment Act (CEAA). This structured approach to EIAs allows federal and provincial regulatory agencies to evaluate environmental impacts of proposed projects according to recognized standards within legislated timeframes. Triton’s EIA expertise provides our clients with guidance and services through all phases of the EIA process. Triton’s roles in this process include coordinating multi-disciplinary teams, conducting environmental baseline assessments, liaising with government and stakeholders and working with the project team to efficiently and effectively navigate the regulatory agency permitting process. Our corporate experience comprises small and large-scale developments throughout British Columbia including mine projects, residential developments, pipelines, ports and hydroelectric projects.
